Hindustan University
Hindustan University or Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) is a deemed-to-be university headquartered in Chennai. It was established in 1985 by K.C.G.Verghese. It was conferred the “University” status from the University Grants Commission Under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 in the academic year 2008-09It is one of the top private engineering institutes in Tamil Nadu. Hindustan University is well known for offering dual degree courses, exchange of academic or scientific materials and publications of common interests, and cooperative design of courses.
In addition to this, Hindustan University offers various UG, Integrated, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, M.Phil., and Ph.D. programs in the fields of Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, and Commerce. All courses at this university are approved by UGC-DEB and accredited by NAAC ‘A’ and AICTE.
